Fotabong Parish Development Project: LECUDEM USA Supports Presbytery and Cemetery
In the heart of Fotabong, important spiritual and community infrastructure projects are underway, bringing new life to both the Parish Presbytery and the parish cemetery. These developments reflect a shared commitment to strengthening religious life and preserving sacred spaces for generations to come.
The Fotabong Parish Development Project includes the construction of a new presbytery designed to be more than just a residence. It will be a multi-functional story building that accommodates several key members of the local Catholic community. Once completed, the structure will house the Parish Priest, his assistant, the Rector of the Minor Seminary, and the Spiritual Director of the Seminary. It will also provide dedicated space for Parish offices, creating a centralized and professional environment for the day-to-day operation of parish activities.
This Presbytery project marks a significant step forward in supporting the spiritual leadership of the region. A proper residence and administrative facility will help clergy and staff focus more on their pastoral duties, youth formation, and community outreach without the strain of inadequate infrastructure. It also reflects the value the community places on its faith leaders and the important roles they play in spiritual guidance, education, and social cohesion.
